Cleaning the heat exchanger (condenser)
☞ Proceed as follows:
• Stop the engine
• Apply the parking brake
• Switch off ignition and remove the ignition key
• Remove intake screen A from the counterweight
• Remove fastening screws B from the heat exchanger and fold away
heat exchanger C
• Clean the heat exchanger with a water jet (do not use a high-pressure cleaner or
compressed air)
Do not damage the fins as you clean the heat exchanger!
• Clean the air intake area
• Install intake screen A onto the counterweight
• Install heat exchanger C after cleaning
Have the air conditioning system checked twice a year by trained staff in an
authorised workshop!
Furthermore, replace dehumidifier D twice a year!
• The dehumidifier is located in the engine compartment under the engine
cover lock
