The procedure varies depending on the printer model and the
operating panel. Read the "Configuring Parameters Using the
KYOCERA Printer Operating Panel" section on page B-14 of the
User Manual if necessary.
Operating panel settings will not be saved in the print server if a
password has been assigned.
3.6.3. Setting Up the Printer and Configuring the LPR Port
You must set up your printer as a local printer under Windows NT
3.51. Select the LPR port as the printer port. The different logical
printers (lp1 - lp8) can be addressed via the LPR port. Please read
the "Logical Printer" section on page 1-3 if necessary.
Please read the printer installation instructions in your Windows or
printer user manual if necessary.
If you use a host name, make sure that this host name has been
assigned correctly. Please read the "Host Name" section on page
1-13 if necessary.
If you have already set up your printer, you must only configure
the LPR port. Call the property sheet of the printer and select the
'Ports' tab. Continue with step 4 on page 3-37 described in the
following.
Procedure Proceed as follows:
1. Click 'Print Manager' on the main menu.
