Operating panel settings will not be saved in the print server if a
password has been assigned.
3.3.2. Setting Up the Printer
You must set up your printer in a Windows 2000 network as a
network printer. In case of IPP printing Windows searches for the
printer using the indicated IP address and sets it up automatically.
Please read the printer installation instructions in your Windows or
printer user manual if necessary.
Procedure Proceed as follows:
1. Select 'Printers' on the 'Start' menu.
2. Double click 'Add Printer.'
The Add Printer Wizard appears.
3. Click 'Next >.'
