4.4.3. AIX Without SMIT
When installing the print server into the spooler of an AIX system
as a remote printer, you must enter a print queue, a host name, and
a logical printer into the '/etc/qconfig' file. In this section, manual
installation without using the SMIT Administration Tool is
described.
