Note that when the BMCA function causes this instrument to enter the passive state, PTP OUT
on the front panel lights in orange and the message changes to "PASSIVE".
When PTP1 and PTP2 are both leaders, the PTP OUT LED on the front panel is displayed as
shown below according to the combination of the PTP1 state and the PTP2 state.
