Ensure that the cardan shaft guard of
the cardan shaft is secured with the
chain (1) at a fixed point against rotating.
Special knowledge and tools are required
to shorten a telescopic cardan shaft. Ac-
cordingly, this task is best left to specialist
service personnel.
If the telescopic cardan shaft is too long,
have the service personnel shorten the
cardan shaft.
