To ensure the calculated flow rate corre-
sponds to the actual flow rate, the flow rate
can be checked by volumetric metering the
nozzles and the flowmeter can be calibrat-
ed.
Applications:
Before commissioning for the first time
At the start of each season
If the distribution rate displayed differs
from the actual distribution rate sprayed
When the flowmeter has been replaced
or repaired
Preconditions:
The general approach taken to working
with the control system is well known.
Measurement cup on hand.
The entire implement is cleaned with
clean water.
6.7.1 Volumetrically meter the nozzles
In order to determine the exact value of the
nozzle output, at least 3 nozzles are re-
moved from different part-width sections.
