10.14 Calibrating the sensors
The following must be calibrated annually:
speed of travel indicator; see the operating instructions for the operating termi-
nal and «Calibration of the speed sensor, page 109»
flow meter; see the operating instructions for the operating terminal and
«Volumetric metering of the nozzles and calibrating the flowmeter, page 105»
10.15 Filter
Clean filters are a prerequisite for smooth operation. Therefore, the given filters
must undergo regular maintenance.
CAUTION
The use of pressure and nozzle filters with 80 meshes/inch or
more may result in spraying agent being filtered out for some
spray agents. If necessary, please ask your pesticide manufactu-
rer.
The mesh width for the pressure or nozzle filter must always be
less than the flow cross-section for the relevant nozzles used.
The specifications of the pesticide manufacturer with regard to
mesh width must always be observed.
