During the spraying process, the spray pump (H) draws the spraying fluid from the
main tank (7) via the switching valve (C), the selection valve (A) and the suction
filter (9). The spraying fluid is then pumped to the nozzles via the diverting valve
(D) and the pressure filter (3).
The control valve (2) can be used to control the metering of the distribution rate.
The control valve is operated by the control unit and allows the spraying fluid not
required by the nozzles to flow into the agitator (5).
If automatic metering is activated in the control system, metering is proportional to
the speed of travel.
The agitator intensity is set with the agitator control (E). For this purpose the stir-
ring pump (I) draws the spraying fluid from the main tank via the selection valve
(B) and the suction filter (9).
The permanent circulation of the spraying fluid in the system ensures a consistent
mixture and concentration of the spraying fluid.
The flowmeter (4) measures the complete volumetric flow to all nozzles.
The pressure sensor (23) determines the spray pressure. The flush valve (F) on
the pressure filter (3) allows you to adjust the flushing intensity of the pressure fil-
ter.
The pressure control valve (17) directs the spraying fluid to the agitator (5) when
the system pressure is exceeded.
When the nozzles are switched off, the part-width section valves (20) close. The
spraying fluid flows through the central bypass valve (21) into the agitator (5).
5.5.5 Liquid flow to nozzles
The spraying fluid coming from the flowmeter (4) is distributed in the middle part of
the sprayer boom to the right and left half of the sprayer boom and flows to the
part-width section valves (20) and the central bypass valve (21). During distributi-
on, the central bypass valve (21) is closed and the part-width section valves (20)
are open.
The spraying fluid flows to the membrane check valves and is sprayed from the
nozzles.
