After the Run:
Remove the syringe and replace by a syringe filled with demi-water. Press ‘clean’ and slowly
flush the connector during rinsing, make sure you flush during the 2 directions the cleaning fluid
flows.
Dry the bob and the cup and connector, flush the Luer-connector with air using a large syringe.
If everything is dry, lower the Bob in the cup. Ready to run the next sample.
The Oxygen sensor spot is tested during the self-check before every measurement. In case the
self-check is not passed, see our Protocol (on page 160) how to correct the oxygen measurement.
7.8.4. Oxygenscan
Test is performed automatically, according to test-settings.
Test-time consists of:
- Deoxygenation: 20 min
- Re-oxygenation: 8 min.
At measurement completion, result-data is displayed on-screen, the software offers an option to
print (yes/no), and the data is stored (see further in text).
