5. INSTALLATION
Installation means: Transport, final assembly, fitting the connections and the starting up of the
instrument. This should only be performed by trained and skilled personnel.
Starting up the instrument and giving instructions for the first (series of) measurements should
always be carried out under the supervision of a Service Technician from the manufacturer or their
representative.
5.1. Pre-installation requirements
Only when pO2 Scan will be used:
Laboratory Integrated Dry Nitrogen Gas Supply (NOT part of accessory set)
consisting of:
Laboratory dry N2 purge system wall socket connection
Low pressure gas tube connection between N2 delivery system and pO2 Scan black tube,
which is the PUN system at 4.0 mm outer diameter.
Flux requirement: gas flow minimal 6 ltr/min, optimal 9 ltr/min
Pressure requirement: pressure larger than 0.8 bar, smaller than 1.0 bar
or
Stand-Alone Cylinder Dry Nitrogen Gas Supply
consisting of:
Pressurized N2 gas cylinder: FOR EXAMPLE UN1066 (F10): Nitrogen 3.0 (purity > 99,9 vol
%), CAS Nr.: 7727-37-9 , EG Nr. (EINICS) : 231-783-9. Max 10 ltr (mandatory for safety).
