Set Static IP Parameters
Pressing the EDIT button associated with any of the fields will display an additional screen to allow entry of the
desired value.
Note: The MAC Address is fixed and therefore not settable. The displayed value is for information
only.
Note: If TCP/IP is being used for DNP 3.0, Modbus or IEC61850, please make sure that the ID is
added or changed for different devices.
Make sure that the equipment in the network routes between the LumaSMART and monitoring
computer are properly configured.
Make sure that all firewalls are enabled to permit the flow of TCP/IP traffic.
Setup DNP3
1. Select Interface as desired (RS485 or TCP/IP).
2. Setup RS485 Interface Parameters or Setup TCP/IP Ethernet Interface Parameters
depending on the
selected interface. (See Section 5.2.6.7)
3. Press the Device ID EDIT button to set the Device ID
used by the protocol to uniquely identify this device
from other devices on the network.
4. Unsolicited Reports can be turned ON or OFF depending on
the desired state.
5. Authentication can be enabled or disabled.
Authentication Password setup is available to modify
whenever Authentication (see above) is in the
Enabled condition. To modify the password, DOUBLE
tap on the portion of the screen that contains the
password.
After the double press, a screen will open to allow you to
enter the 32 digit password. When done press the Enter
button, to Abort modifying the password press the Cancel
button. Only the numbers 0 -> 9 and letters a -> f are valid for
this password.
