Green Signal strength is above 60%.
Yellow
Signal strength is between 10% and 59% and the probe signal strength is marginal. Common reasons
for this marginal signal strength are dirt deposits, an excessive bending radius, or a loose connection.
This marginal signal strength could be caused by a slightly loose connection, dirt between the
connections, or a probe that is bending more than the allowable bending radius.
Red Signal strength is between 0% and 9% and the probe signal has failed. Common reasons for a failed
probe signal are a broken probe, a broken extension cable, loose or no connection with the
controller, or loose or no connection with the tank wall penetrator plate.
5.2 Main Menu
The Main Menu contains buttons leading to all of the main functions and configuration options of the
LumaSMART
®
controller.
Main Menu
Note: To return to this screen at any time, click the Main Menu button:
Set UpContains menus allowing you to configure Transformer Information, Relay and Control, Date and
Time, Analog Outputs, Administrator Tools and Channel Setup. A password is required to access the Setup
screen.
Transformer InfoDisplays basic information about your transformer.
Battery LifeShows an estimate of the time left before the battery should be changed.
DisplayAllows you to set the channel rotation speed, the amount of time before the backlight turns off
and the display’s brightness.
DiagnosticsAllows you to run Sensor Channel Diagnostics, Configure the Communication Interface and
Protocols, run Relay Testing Simulation, View Files, Erase the Data Logs, provides System Status log file
View and provides a Graph Feature for Data Logs.
Data Log Export Allows you to export data that is currently saved in your system.
5.2.1 Setup
The Setup Menu contains menus allowing you to configure Transformer Information, Relay and Control, Date and
Time, Analog Outputs, Administrator Tools, and Channel Setup. An authentication code is required to access the
Setup screen.
