z AE Title should be the same with the SCU AE Title preset in the server (PACS/
RIS/ HIS), for example, if the AE Title of the server preset in the print server is AAA,
and the AE Title of the accepted SCU is preset as MMM, then in the figure above,
the AE Title of Local should be MMM, and the AE Title of print server should be
AAA.
A.1.3 DICOM Server Setting
The Server Setting function is used to add or delete DICOM servers, or set IP address for
the DICOM server.
To enter the screen:
1. Press <Setup> to enter the Setup menu.
2. Move the cursor onto [Network Preset], the submenu pops up.
3. Select [DICOM Server], as shown in the following figure:
DICOM server setting items are described as follows:
1 Device: Name of the device supporting DICOM services.
2 IP Address: IP address of the server.
3 Ping: You can ping other machines to verify connection after entering the correct IP
address. Also you can check the connection of the already added server in the list.
4 Add: Click to add servers to the device list.
5 Delete: Click to delete the selected server (s) in the device list.
6 Exit: Click to exit the setup screen.
Tips:
z If the currently entered name has already existed, the system will pop up: “The
server name exists!” Click [OK] to enter another name.
