Safety laser
scanners
Check for visual defects, for
example cracks and scratches.
Replace as needed. See the
guide How to replace the safety
laser scanners on MiR250.
If only the optics cover is
damaged, you can replace the
cover alone. See SICK's
documentation for nanoScan3
for instructions.
3D cameras Check for visual defects, for
example cracks and scratches.
To test the cameras, see the
guide How to test if the 3D
cameras are working on MiR
robots.
Check monthly, and calibrate or
replace as needed— see the
guide How to calibrate a D435 3D
camera.
ESD capability Check the robot's electrical
resistance by following the
sectionTesting the
ESDcompliance of MiR250 in the
guide How to replace the drive
wheels on MiR250.
If the resistance is above 1 × 10
9
Ω, clean the wheels and test the
resistance again. If the
resistance is still out of bounds,
replace the drive wheels.
Check yearly or every 4000km.
Safety marking
on the floor
Check if the safety markings
around operating hazard zones
are intact and visible.
Check every six months, and
replace as needed.
