Part Maintenance Interval
Safety stickers
and nameplate
Check if the safety stickers,
identification label, and
nameplate on the robot are still
intact and visible.
Check every six months, and
replace as needed.
Hook pins Check that all pins are mounted
correctly and the set screws are
tightened—see Figure 15.1 and
Figure 15.1.
The set screws for the big pins in
the hook arm are: ISO 4029/DIN
916 Stainless steel, M5×8
The set screws for the pins in the
gripper are: ISO 4029/DIN 916
Stainless steel, M5×5
If the set screws are not
tightened to a torque of 1.5 Nm;
unscrew them, apply Loctite 243
thread-locking adhesive, and
reapply the set screws.
Check monthly, and replace as
needed.
Hook gripper
and vertical
console
Check for cracks or bending, and
check the springs.
Check monthly, and replace as
needed.
Hook cables Check if the cables are jammed
or damaged and if the insulation
is intact.
Check monthly, and replace as
needed.
