Verifying and Securing Cable Connections
At this point in the installation all cabling to the MDF, patch panel, rack, and endpoints should be
completed, including all cables that terminate at the chassis modules.
To complete cabling:
1. Plug all applicable cables into their respective modules and chassis ports.
2. Install the LAN cable from the Processor Module jack to a LAN connection. Plug the
cable into a 100Base-T switch, not a hub.

Referring to the following procedures as needed, install optional equipment and/or power up the
system:
“Installing a Single Line Handset Amplifier” on page 5-182
“Installing an External Music Source” on page 5-169
“Installing External Paging Equipment” on page 5-171
