Capacities
For general reference purposes, the following topics and tables summarize Inter-Tel 5000
equipment specifications.
System Capacities
Table 4-8 summarizes capacities for Inter-Tel CS-5200, CS-5400, and CS-5600 platforms
running v2.4 and later.
NOTICE
NOTICE
The capacity values published in this addendum have been validated under controlled
laboratory conditions and supported by real-time field trials in a variety of business
operations. However, the actual capacities that an Inter-Tel 5000 platform can support will
depend on the mixture of trunks and types of endpoints installed, among other network and
environmental factors.
While Inter-Tel converged technology platforms provide advanced communications capability,
the nature of that technology imposes certain physical constraints. These physical constraints
include such things as the number of simultaneous voice channels and signal processing
resources available at any time. The maximum capacities listed indicate tested capability
rather than claims that all the values have been realized at the same time.
