Abbreviations and Acronyms
In addition to industry-wide and/or internationally recognized units of measure, such as Hz, V,
AC, DC, A, ms, etc., Table 6-25 lists the abbreviations and acronyms that appear in this
document.
NOTE
Compact flash is a type of data storage device packaged in a matchbook-sized
card (1.7 in. [43 mm] x 1.4 in. [36 mm] x .13 in. [3.3 mm]). CompactFlash
®
is a
registered trademark of the SanDisk Corporation and is licensed through the
CompactFlash Association. In this document, however, “compact flash” is used in
the general sense to describe the type of data storage device that is common in
the marketplace. “C Flash” is a shortened form of the term that appears on Inter-
Tel memory card packaging.
