To prepare the endpoint for wall-mounting (regardless of base type):
1. Remove the metal plate from the base of the endpoint by removing the two plastic rivets
to unlock it from the base.
2. Slide the cover off. The two plastic rivets are not included on endpoints built prior to May
2005.
3. Use a sharp blade to cut out the rectangular portion of the adhesive label covering the
wall-mount knockout (see diagram at right).
The following instructions apply to endpoints that have a support mechanism—see the following
illustration—that fits into holes in the base.
