2.5 Brake Specications
The motor brake is used to prevent the motor from turning when the brake is de-energized. The
most common way of using it is when the motor is used to control a vertical load, when the motor
is not enabled or powered o, in order to prevent the mechanical mechanism driven by the motor
from shifting due to gravity and other reasons, it is necessary to use a servo motor with a brake.
When the brake is energized, the armature is adsorbed, the brake piece is released, and the motor
can run normally; when the brake is powered o, the armature will be released, the brake piece is
locked, and the motor cannot rotate normally.

During normal operation, do not use the motor's brake to decelerate the motor, it will cause
damage to the brake.
