Searching for an E-mail address through the LDAP server
When using an LDAP server or Active Directory in Windows Server, search for an E-mail address through the
server.
There are two ways to search: Use [Address Search (LDAP)] in which a fax number is searched by a single
keyword, and use [Adv. Search (LDAP)] in which a fax number is searched by a combination of keywords of
different categories.
0 To use an LDAP server or Active Directory to specify the destination, you must register the server on
this machine. The registration process is explained using Web Connection. For details, refer to "User's
Guide [Web Management Tool]/[Configuring the Scan Environment]".
1 Tap [Addr. Search] - [Search] - [Address Search (LDAP)] or [Adv. Search (LDAP)].
2 Enter the keyword, then tap [Search].

3 Select the destination from the search result.
