3.4 Calibration Setting

3.4.5 Preliminary check setting
By confirming the repeatability using the standard solution of pH7 once a day at calibration,
the measurement accuracy can be assured.
When calibration for the set calibration point is completed, the repeatability is automatically
checked. This repeatability check confirms the deviation from the calibrated value by the
standard solution of pH7.
The sequence for the two-point calibration by pH7 and pH4 is as follows:
pH7 (Calibration of 1st point) → pH4 (Calibration of 2nd point) → pH7(Repeatability check
with the calibrated value by 1st point )
The result is displayed as follows:
Preliminary check is only available for NIST and USA in standard solution setting.
It is not available for Custom setting.
Setting procedure
1. In the pH CALIBRATION SETUP
screen, press ↑ or ↓ key to go to
REPEATABILITY field.
2. Press ← or → key to select ON or
OFF.
3. Press F4 (RETURN) to reflect the
setting. The display returns to the
CAL screen.
