Choose the number of focus points available for manual focus-point selection when an option other
than [Auto-area AF] is selected for AF-area mode.

[All points]
Every focus point available in the current AF-area mode can be selected.
The number of points av
ailable varies with the AF-area mode.

[Alternating
points]
The number of available focus points is reduced to one quarter of
the number available when [All points] is selected. Use for quick focus-
point selection. The number of points available for [Pinpoint AF] is not
affected.
