Alarm/Event History Record Format
The following data is stored to memory for alarm/event histories.
Alarm number (ID)
Time and date of alarm/event (On-date & time)
Time and date alarm/event cleared (Off-date & time)
Time and date checked (Confirm-date & time)
Number of occurrences (On-count)
Related information value 1 (Val 1)
Related information value 2 (Val 2)
Related information value 3 (Val 3)
Message
The related information values are the contents of the addresses set under Alarm/Event setting.
This data can be saved as a CSV file to a Memory Card by turning ON system memory bit $SB33.
Alarm histories are saved in a file called Alarm.csv and event histories in a file called Event.csv.
Example: How to read alarm/event histories saved as CSV files.

Message
Meaning:
Alarm 1 occurred on 2000/02/24 at 14:55:13, was cleared on 2000/02/24 at 14:58:21, and
checked on 2000/02/24 at 14:57:34.
This alarm has occurred 12 times.
The contents of the addresses set to related information values 1 to 3 are 34, 67, and 89,
respectively.
The message for alarm 1 is “Alarm 1”.
Event histories are saved in the same format as alarm histories, i.e., as CSV files.

CSV files are saved to directory \LOG on the Memory Card.
The CSV file names are fixed to Alarm.csv and Event.csv, so any previously output Alarm.csv or
Event.csv files will be overwritten.
Maximum Number of Records
Up to 1,024 alarm records and 1,024 event records can be kept.
Set the number of alarm and event records under PT/Alarm/Event setting/Alarm/Event Parameter on the
CX-Designer. If Use Ring Buffer is selected, the oldest data will be deleted and new data saved in its place
when the maximum number of records is exceeded. The set record format can be checked under the
System Menu.
