Setting Specifications
Buzzer sound
• Three types (continuous, short intermittent, long intermittent)
The type of buzzer sound is controlled at system memory bits $SB12 to $SB14.
• Press the Command Button with the Buzzer stop function to stop the buzzer.
Alternatively, turn OFF system memory bits $SB12 to $SB14.
• Settings under System Menu PT Operation Settings Screen/CX-Designer system
settings.
ON: Buzzer sounds when $SB12 to $SB14 turn ON or when an error occurs.
When an error message or other x or ! dialog boxes are displayed.
OFF: Buzzer does not sound.
ERR ON: Buzzer sounds when an error occurs.
When an error message or other x or ! dialog boxes are displayed.
Key press sound
• Settings under System Menu PT Operation Settings Screen/CX-Designer system
settings.
ON: Input sound when functional object that receives PT input is pressed.
OFF: No input sound even when functional object that receives PT input is
pressed.
Maintenance function
• All settings status monitor function
The status of all settings can be checked from the System Menu Screen.
• Communications test function
Communications can be tested by performing simple communications.
• Data initialization
Data saved to the PT can be initialized from the System Menu.
• Operation log/error log/alarm/event history/data log display
The record settings and data for all kinds of log data can be displayed.
• Registered Screen test display function
Registered screens can be displayed and checked from the System Menu.
• Hardware check
Hardware can be checked.
Battery back up
• Operation log/error log/alarm/event history/data log back up
• Calendar clock settings back up.
• Battery life: 5 years (25°C)
• At voltage drop: Orange RUN indicator

• Current date and time display based on internal clock.
• Display and settings using System Menu PT Operation Settings
Screen/CX-Designer Date/Time Object.
• Maximum monthly margin at normal error temperature (25°C) is –39 to +65 seconds.
Device monitor
function
Can connect to CPM2A, CPM2C, CQM1, CQM1H, C200HS, C200HX/HG/HE-E/-ZE,
CS1G/CS1H, CS1G/CS1H-H, CJ1G, CJ1M, and CJ2H PLCs and switch operation
modes and display or change current word contents.

Image adjustments for Video Input Unit.

time chart. This function can also set the data trace parameters.
Device data transfer
Data can be transferred from the transfer source to the transfer destination under
specified conditions.
