No. Setting Details
1 File Name Sets and Displays Switch Box File for NS saved on Switch Box Utility.
It contains addresses, comments, and group information to be dis-
played. Up to 20 characters can be displayed. Up to 100 files can be
selected.
2 Group Name Displays group name set on Switch Box Utility in a list. The group
name that contains addresses to be monitored/displayed can be se-
lected from the list. Up to 20 characters can be displayed. Six words
can be registered for each group. Up to 100 groups can be registered.
3 Host Name Press Host Name to display the Host Selection Dialog Box and select
the host. Host names set using CX-Designer can be selected.
4 Mode Press Mode to display Change Mode Dialog Box. Switches to the
specified PLC mode.
5 CH Displays communications address. Display will be blank when the
Watch Monitor is selected.
6 Comment Displays comments of the current address. Display will be blank when
the Watch Monitor is selected.
7 Bit Status Display Displays each bit ON/OFF status.
8 Bit Comment Display Displays bit comments set using Switch Box Utility.
9 Switch
CH/Bit
Switches monitor type from the Bit Monitor to the Watch Monitor and
vice versa.
10 Group Comment Display Displays comments set for the groups. Up to 20 characters per line
and up to 50 lines can be displayed. For the NS5, up to 33 characters
per line and up to 9 lines can be displayed
11 Value Press Value Button to switch Change Screen.
12 < > Switch to next /previous page.
13 Page Display Displays current page number and the maximum page number. There
are 3 pages maximum for the NS12, 6 pages for NS7 and NS10.

Switch the bits displayed in the bit status in increments of 4 bits from
the specified address. Nothing will be displayed when Watch Monitor
is selected.
15 Setting
(NS5 PTs only)
Press the Setting Button to display the Setting Dialog Box in the
Switch Box Utility.
16 Show Monitor Screen
(NS5 PTs only)
Press the Show Monitor Screen Button to go to the first Monitor
Screen page.
