Servicing eUSB Disks
A single eUSB disk is installed in each CMIOU in the server. For the location of the eUSB
disks inside a CMIOU, see “DIMM and eUSB Locations in a CMIOU” on page 27.
Caution - This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic
discharge. This discharge can cause server components to fail. Follow antistatic precautions to
prevent electrostatic damage. See “Prevent ESD Damage” on page 61.

Remove an eUSB Disk
This procedure can be performed only by qualified service personnel after removing the
CMIOU that contains it.
