Servicing the Front Indicator Panel Cable
The front indicator panel cable connects the front indicator panel to the chassis.
Caution - This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic
discharge. This discharge can cause server components to fail. Follow antistatic precautions to
prevent electrostatic damage. See “Prevent ESD Damage” on page 61.

Remove the Front Indicator Panel Cable
This procedure can be performed only by qualified service personnel.
Caution - Remove AC power using the circuit breakers on the appropriate PDU before
performing this procedure.
