Prepare the switch unit for removal and verify that it is ready.

/Scalability_Switch_Board_x action=prepare_to_remove
When the switch unit is ready to remove, the blue Ready to Remove LED will light.
Note - If you issue the prepare_to_remove command but decide not to remove the switch
unit, you must return the component to service. To do this, either issue the return_to_service
command or physically remove the switch unit from the server and reinstall it.

Remove the plastic covers from the connectors on the new switch unit and set
them aside for installation on the old switch unit connectors, once you have
removed it from the system.

Unseat a Switch Unit
Some component replacement tasks (for example, those for interconnects and PDECBS) require
you to unseat switch units before you perform them.
1.
Prepare the switch unit for removal.
See “Prepare a Switch Unit for Removal” on page 191.
2.
Verify that the blue Ready to Remove LED on the switch unit is on.
See “Switch Unit LEDs” on page 190.
3.
Unseat the switch unit.
