Servicing SP Internal Interconnect Assemblies
There is one SP internal interconnect assembly in each CMIOU chassis. These assemblies
connect the CMIOUs to the SPs.
There is one SP internal interconnect assembly in the switch chassis. This assembly connects
switch units to the SPs.

Caution - This procedure requires that you handle components that are sensitive to electrostatic
discharge. This discharge can cause server components to fail. Follow antistatic precautions to
prevent electrostatic damage. See “Prevent ESD Damage” on page 61.
