Return a CMIOU to Oracle
Caution - It is very important that you properly install the connector cover to prevent additional
damage during shipping and aid Oracle in determining how the component failed. Ensure that
the connector cover is fully engaged and centered over connectors.
b.
Ensure that the protruding end of the CMIOU latch is centered in the window
of the inner container (panel 2).
c.
Place corrugated sheet on top of the CMIOU with the “Top Rear” marking on
the rear of the chassis facing up. Ensure that the corrugated sheet extends
over the connector (panel 3).
2.
Close inner container and secure the container with tape.
a.
Fold the bottom and top flaps of the inner container over the CMIOU (panel
1).
b.
Fold the side flaps of the inner container over the CMIOU (panel 2).
