Completing the Repair
To complete the SOM PCA replacement
1 Give the user the README document.
If you are upgrading the device’s software, it is essential that the customer gets the latest Instructions
for Use. Make sure the customer gets the README document, which provides instructions for
downloading the latest Efficia DFM100 Instructions for Use from the Philips Documentation and
Downloads web site at:
http://www.philips.com/ProductDocs.
2 Set the correct date and time. See the Instructions for Use “Configuration” chapter for details.
3 Restore the customer’s configuration settings from the USB flash drive.
4 Run Performance Verification and Safety Testing as described in the “Performance Verification”
chapter.
