9.1 INTRODUCTION
The RFL 9508 RF Chassis, for use with the 9780/9785, amplifies the rf outputs of the 9780/85 before
they are passed to the line coupling equipment. The RFL 9508 RF Chassis shown in Figure 9-1a
develops 50 Watts PEP. For100 Watt applications, two 50 watt power amplifiers are required which
are wired in parallel. The 100 Watt configuration is shown in Figure 9-1b.
NOTE
The 9780/85 Reflected Power Meter option is not available with a 50/100W Amp.
