Connecting the Kinetix 6000 Drive System Chapter 5
Installing the Fiber-optic Connector Bracket Kit
The fiber-optic connector bracket is designed to relieve stress applied to the Rx
and Tx connectors and reduce the possibility of causing damage to the
connectors.

ATTENTION: To avoid damage to the equipment, verify that power
is not applied to the system when installing the kit.
Mount the IAM and AM modules to the power rail before
attempting to install the brackets.
Clamp must be positioned as shown to be effective. Failure to
comply may result in damage to the connectors.
Clamp must hold connectors
tight to be effective.
Push clamp into
bottom-most position.
