Calibrating Sequence
Use calibration function to output initial and full scale values (0 ... 20mA / 4 ... 20mA).
Enter the value measured on meter, e.g.
1 mA, measured on 0 mA threshold
19 mA, measured on 20 mA threshold.
System calibrates output correctly to 0-20 mA.
You can also calibrate the 4-20 mA range.
Operating Sequence
Scroll field for selection of calibration range or reset function appears:
435:Calibrate Analog Output
Range: 0-20mA
There are the following possibilities:
0-20mA:
See (a)
4-20mA:
See( a)
Reset:
See( b)
a) After selection, the following input field opens:
435:Calibrate Analog Output
Analog Output mA: +0,000
Enter measured current value. Limit values are range between -4 and +8 mA.
If value read off is out of tolerance, check connected peripherals.
Acknowledge with [ENTER] key.
Input field opens:
435:Calibrate Analog Output
Analog Output mA: 20,000
Enter measured current value:
Adm. Limit Values: Min. Max.
0-20mA, or 4-20mA 16,000 +24,000
Acknowledge with [ENTER] key.
b) Select Reset function to reject analog output calibration.
Use this function whenever you
read off implausible values (e.g. due to previous calibration fault)
replace option VEA400V. After replacement, recalibration is necessary.
