5.4.3.1 Parameter 'Scale Type'
Display: Type Normal
Selection: Normal; multi-division (2 ranges); multi-range (2 ranges);
multi-division (3 ranges; multi-range (3 ranges)
Default = Normal
Function: Enter scale type.
With the multi-divisional scale, change-over from smaller to bigger range
takes place if weight value exceeds switching value (smaller range full scale
value). Return to next small range takes place if switching point is exceeded
down. After taring, scale operates in small range related to Net weight. This
mode requires special load cells (e.g. SCHENCK RTN MI load cells).
The maximum manual/fixed tare input is limited to the full scale value of the
smallest range.
With the multi-range scale, change-over from smaller to bigger range
takes place if weight value exceeds switching value. Return to small range
takes place only if scale is relieved to exact zero (
+¼ d). Tare values, if
any, are deleted. Taring has no impact on range (Gross related).
5.4.3.2 Parameter 'Full Scale Value - Small Range'
Display: Sm.Range [selected unit] 300.000
Input: Any value from 1.000 to 1000000
Default = 300
Function: Defines the full scale value of the small range.
This parameter is directly related to parameter Increment
Value - Small Range.
Both values have to coincide.
5.4.3.3 Parameter 'Increment Value - Small Range'
Display: Digit [selected unit] 0.100
Input: Any value from 0.001 to 1000.000
Default = 0.1
Function: Defines increment value and thus the resolution of the small
range.
Comments: Together with parameter Full Scale Value - Small Range,
this parameter defines the number of increments of the small
range.
Increment value is calculated thus:
Number of increments = full scale value/increment value
Possible are increments of 1; 2; 5.
If the increment entered is not useful, event message
'W1211: Digit Wrong' is output.
5.4.3.4 Parameter 'Full ScaleValue - Medium Range'
Display: Medium range [current unit] 300.000
Input: Any value between 1000 to 1000000
Default = 300
Function: Defines medium range full scale value.
Parameter 'Increment Value -Medium Range' is directly
connected with Parameter 'Full Scale-Medium Range'.
Ensure that the two values coincide.
