Example with cross beam measuring
A light grid with a beam distance of 20 mm can detect a wide object with a thickness
of 1 mm using the cross beam switching function, but cannot output a measured value
for the height, for example. With the cross beam measuring function, it is also possible
to output the height as a measured value.
Configuring the Cross beam switching function via SOPAS ET
In SOPAS ET, click on the Performance options expandable menu in the right-hand
window.
Activate the Cross beam switching function in the Scan mode area.
The Cross beam switching function is activated.
