Type plate
The type plate and the MAC address label are on the rear side of the mounting plate. It is
advisable to make a note of relevant data as it is no longer visible after installation.

LED for status displays
The PP 72/48 D PN has the following additional LEDs that provide information on the module
status:
Name Designation Color Description
H1 PowerOK Green Lit: Power supply ok
Not lit: As soon as one of the generated logic voltages falls below its setpoint, a reset is
triggered and the PowerOK LED goes out.
H2 PNSync Green Lit: Task system is synchronized to the bus cycle clock.
Not lit: Task system is not synchronized to bus cycle clock.
Flashes 0.5 Hz: Task system is synchronized to the bus cycle clock and cyclic data ex‐
change is running.
H3 PNFault Red Not lit: Module is operating without errors; data exchange with all configured I/O devices
is running.
Lit: Serious bus fault; only output when one of the following errors is detected for the ports:
● No physical connection to a subnet/switch
● Incorrect transmission rate
● Full duplex transmission is not activated
H4 DIAG1 Green Reserved
H5 DIAG2 Green Reserved
H6 OVTemp Red Overtemperature indication
