HYDRAULIC UNITSHST PUMP
3. Remove the retaining ring (6).
• Use a flat head driver.
4. Remove the seal carrier.
a. Pull up the shaft and remove the seal carrier
(7).
• If the seal carrier is hard to remove, insert
the flat head driver under the convex part
(A) of the seal carrier and try again.
b. Remove the seal from the seal carrier (7).
c. Remove the O-ring (8).
5. Remove the shaft assembly.
• Grasp the spline of the shaft assembly and
pull it up.
6. Remove the side cover.
a. Remove the six cap screws.
b. Remove the side cover (9).
• Press down the swash plate (10) by the
handle of a rubber hammer.
• If the cover is hard to remove, lightly tap
on section B of the side cover (9) with the
rubber hammer.
7. Remove the cylinder block.
• Lift the swash plate (10) ends, and slide out
the cylinder block (11) to remove it.
• Take care not to damage the sliding surface.
