4. Change the screen’s view to show only
function variables.

useful in an example with four variables,
consider how useful it could be if there
were many variables of all different types.
Press D D B 5 ¸
5. Highlight the
f function variable, and view
its contents.
Notice that the function was assigned
using
f(x) but is listed as f on the screen.
Press D 2 ˆ
6. Close the Contents window.
Press N
7. With the
f variable still highlighted, close
VAR-LINK to paste the contents of the
variable to the entry line. Notice that “(” is
pasted.
Press ¸
8. Complete the operation.
