History Area
The history area shows up to eight previous entry/answer pairs (depending on the
complexity and height of the displayed expressions). When the display is filled,
information scrolls off the top of the screen. You can use the history area to:
Review previous entries and answers. You can use the cursor to view entries and
answers that have scrolled off the screen.
Recall or auto-paste a previous entry or answer onto the entry line so that you can
re-use or edit it.

Normally, the cursor is in the entry line. However, you can move the cursor into the
history area.
To: Do this:
View entries or answers
that have scrolled off
the screen
From the entry line, press C to highlight
the last answer.
Continue using
C to move the cursor from
answer to entry, up through the history
area.
Go to the oldest or newest
history pair
If the cursor is in the history area, press
8C or 8D, respectively.
View an entry or answer
that is too long for one
line (
8 is at end of line)
Move the cursor to the entry or answer. Use
A and B to scroll left and right (or 2A
and
2B to go to the beginning or end),
respectively.
