Once connected, a number of actions can be performed:
IP settings: setting the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway
for the interface.
If the IP address is not properly set yet, only the IP settings
menu is available.
Set at least the equipment IP address and subnet mask in
order to be able to access it remotely via the Web supervision
application.
Setup parameters: setting all other setup parameters.
Identity: equipment name
SNMP: configuration of
read
and
read-write
communities, trap
address and access list mode.
Date & Time: configuration of UTC date, local offset, and
daylight savings.
Clock settings: the clock can be synchronized on an external
source, which can be an NTP server or an incoming table (TDT
or TOT in DVB mode; STT in ATSC mode).
User rights: you may define some users, and for each user the
list of actions he/she is entitled to perform. You can also protect
some supervision and configuration actions with a password.
Rights are as follows:

With the Modify configuration rights, you can create a new
configuration or modify an existing configuration.

With the Apply configuration rights, you can apply an
existing configuration.

With the Remove configuration rights, you can remove a
configuration that is not applied to the equipment.

With the Delete closed alarms rights, you can delete the list
of closed alarms.

With the Manual switch rights, you can perform manual
switch requests.

With the Monitoring output selection rights, you can
choose the behavior of monitoring outputs.

With the Reset monitoring counters rights, you can reset
the tests counters.

With the Set maintenance mode rights, you can switch on
the maintenance mode of the equipment.

With the FEC activation mode, you can reactivate the FEC
correction or generation of the equipment in case of
deactivation.
