Starting the Application
1.
Start your Web browser (IE recommended).
2.
Enter the IP address of the Amethyst III equipment in the address line.
The browser starts connecting to the equipment and downloading the
supervision interfac
e (java applet).
3.
At the very first download, the Certificate dialog should display, click
Always for using all the Amethyst III functionalities.
4.
Set the device configuration via the Web Browser Interface as
explained in Chapter
3
.
It is recommended to open only one Amethyst III applet at a time in the
W
eb browser on the same PC.
After the upgrade of an Amethyst, if the JAVA cache is not deactivated, it
is
recommended to remove the resources associated to the previous
applet version before loading the new applet version or the connection
to the equipment may fail. To do so:
1.
From the Control Panel, open the Java settings.
2.
In the Temporary Internet Files area, click View.
