The
Common
contact is connected to:
the
Close
contact when the unit is not powered OR when the unit is
powered & the relay event is NOT occurring (e.g. the relay is
configured to indicate error status but the unit is NOT in error).
the
Open
contact when the unit is powered AND the event is
occurring (e.g. the relay is configured to indicate error status but the
unit is in error.
