 Wind Direction Output
When wind direction is measured, WMT700 sends analog output as simulated
potentiometer output voltage referred to as external reference voltage. The output is a
proportional signal 0 ... 100 % of the reference voltage representing the wind direction. The
reference voltage must be in the range of 1.0 ... 4.0 VDC (WMS425) or 0 … 10 VDC
(WMT700). The output is 0 VDC at zero degrees and increases to the reference voltage at
359 degrees.
The following
figure shows the output for wind direction. With WMT700, the wind direction
signal appears at pin 13 (gray) of the adapter cable.
