- Remove lower cover
(see section 05.12.01)
- Lock the engine shaft using a
suitable tool (see engine repair
manual).

• Remove bolt 1 (use an impact
driver), remove spring washer 2.
• Detach tension spring 3 from the
clutch flange using long-nose pliers.
• Remove blade mounting 1 from
clutch drum.
• Push blade mounting 1 onto clutch
drum 2 (press clutch shoes
together and ensure that brake
band is not pinched).
• With the engine shaft locked (see
engine repair manual), tighten bolt 4
with spring washer 3 (60-65 Nm,
Loctite 243, use an impact driver).
• Insert blade clutch spring 1 in
bore A (centre bore) using long-
nose pliers.
Note:
Ensure correct position of spring
washer 2 (conical).
