Address 07 (Page 0), diagnostic functions
This parameter contains diagnostic functions which can be set with entering its value. If some
functions should be combined, please enter their calculated sum.
0 07 = Values
of each diagnostic functions (Values represent true or false bits). Its sum
represents the currently diagnostics employment.

default setting (disables all diagnostics)

= disables offset correction
In rarely cases, when the label edge is in immediate under the label sensor the edge
detection is critical. The ALPHA V40 starts an automatically offset correction (label
moves a fraction of a Millimetre). The value 01 disables this feature

= displays pitch and stop and label position at restart
After restart system the screen displays in 2

line beginning in the left most position
the following values until any key is pressed:

nominal numbers of motor steps for ejecting a label (each value of first 2 digits
represents 256 steps, e.g. 01 234 = 256 + 234 = 490 steps (x 0.325 mm) >> 159.25
mm length of label incl. gap
YYYYY represents the amount of nominal motor steps after detection of the label edge, which
is used to move the label to the stop position
ZZZ correspond to the value of LABEL POS. setting (refer to page 68)

= displays nearly the same values as in 02, but after every dispended label
After dispensing a label the screen displays in 2
nd
line the following values
XX XXX effective numbers of motor steps for ejecting a label (refer to 02)
YYYYY effective numbers of motor steps for moving a label to stop position (refer to 02)
ZZZ represents internal flags of motor driver

= disables the label sensor detection and display of the PAPER FEED ERROR”

= displays encoder speed in place of label sensor reading.
It can be used to check the correct working of the optional encoder. The
measured speed in dm/min is displayed on right most position of first line in place o
the label sensor value.

= bypasses the initial start-up message required for CE safety

= enables display/change of trigger delay instead of line speed
