In normal operating conditions, the display shows information as explained below
Label Counter
It increments when a label is ejected due to an external trigger only. Test labels ejected by
pressing [Enter], are not counted. The counter is cumulative, not being reset when changing
label type, but it is lost value when the machine is switched off. Setting the counter to “0” please
refer to the User Menu (see page 65).
Input sensor (state)
Each of the six letters indicating the status of input sensors:
X = product proximity sensor on application tamp
E = Label presence sensor on application tamp
H = home sensor on applicator cylinder
P = product sensor P (primary),
S = product sensor S (secondary),
L = low paper
They appear when the corresponding sensor is active (current flowing into the input circuit) and
being blanked otherwise.
Label Sensor (value and state)
The analogue value, read from the label photo sensor is updated in real time. it indicates
between number 00 and 255 and it is proportional to the opacity of the material (low value =
transparent).
The value is followed by a letter which represents the logic status of the sensor as the following:
N = no paper
G = gap detected
U = undefined
L = label detected
