Label Sensor Connection (X7-LABEL SENSOR)
The controller rear panel obtains a DB15S plug (refer to Fig. 4-1 on page 26), to connect the
label sensor from the machine. This special photo cell detects the gap between the labels in
way of opacity reading. It is used among other things to get information for calculating the label
position.
The Label Sensor connector is a female socket, having the following pin-out (internally
connected to the motor driver board):

Applicator Connection (X8-APPLICATOR)
A
DB9S connector placed on the controller back (refer to Fig. 4-1 on page 26), is available for
the different applicator versions. It must be fitted to support the applicator types:
• Tamp-Blow
• Tamp-On
• Blow-Box
This connector links all required signal for sensors and valves, from controller to the machine. It
is a 9-pole D-type female socket, having the following pin-out:
